Our dentists recommend wrapping a piece of floss that is 15 to 18 inches in length around your finger. Slide the floss between your teeth in the shape of the letter C. It is important to move the floss up, down, back, and forth. If your gums begin to bleed, then it may be a sign of gum disease or the buildup of bacteria in your mouth.
